Trek4Mandela Thanks Presidential

Vis and Mona Naidoo summited Uhuru Peak on Mount Kilimanjaro with 35 other climbers on their Trek4Mandela challenge to create awareness of the Caring4Girls program to bring dignity to our learners in need of sanitary protection to stay in school. 

Vis and Mona Naidoo are proud ambassadors of Trek4Mandela and agents of change to make our country a better place for all, beginning with bettering the lives of our children.

The hugely respected Gugu Zulu tragically lost his life on the expedition. 

Presidential sponsored the pre-trek dinner in 2016 and were honoured to be able to contribute to such a worthy cause and help raise over R120k towards Trek4Mandela and Caring4Girls. 

Chris Diepenaar, an employee of the Presidential Group is taking part in Trek4Mandela in 2017 and we look forward to playing whatever part we can.

The Presidential Collection debut at South African Fashion Week on Friday 23rd September was an unqualified success. 

All who attended the auspicious occasion were impressed with the exquisite designs and fabrics exhibited on the catwalk. Not only on show were the beautiful shirts for which Presidential has become famous, but a complete range of outerwear for the discerning and fashionable client.

Presidential will present its debut at South African Fashion Week on Friday 23rd September with The AW17 Presidential Collection. African Haute Couture will be complimented with Ready to Wear designs, and ladies fashion will be shown for the first time alongside menswear.

Presidential Award Vincent Ntunja

Vincent Ntunja was presented with a Presidential Award this month for his services to his community, sport and the youth of South Africa.

Vincent Ntunja is focused on making his community in Gugulethu Township a better place. He hosts guided tours around his neighbourhood for tourist that would like to see what Gugulethu has to offer. To make the tours fun and unique, Vincent has incorporated fitness and exercise into the mix hence the name Gugs Run/Walk’. When Vincent isn’t sightseeing with expats he hosts a sports segment on Bush Radio, one of Cape Town’s most popular radio stations. He also plays basketball and has travelled around the world. Vincent is quite the philanthropist and has merged his passion for basketball and community work by being involved in the ‘Hoops for hope’  initiative, an international NGO that uses basketball to connect with underprivileged children.

Inga Gubeka has made a scene in the South African fashion and décor industry. He crafts wooden bags, accessories and furniture under his company ‘Indalo Décor. His bags have been featured at SA Menswear Week, Mercedes Benz fashion Week and are loved by many celebrities. He was presented a Presidential Award for his consistency, hard work and excellence in building his brand which has become a beacon of the fashion and lifestyle industry. We hope his entrepreneurial spirit inspires others.

Presidential Award - Emanuel Bonoko

Emanuel Bonoko founded the EBonoko Foundation, which collected and distributed over 12 000 books across South Africa. This book drive gave birth to youth mentorships, bursary campaigns and youth seminars, according to the foundations website. He was presented with a Presidential Award for his passion, dedication and hard work.

The Presidential Team put their hands and their 67 minutes to gardening and clearing the grounds at their local 'adpoted' school, Sonwabo Primary in Gugulethu on 18th July 2016 in memory of Nelson Mandela's 67 years of service to our country.
